How much time do we actually spend on water?
How much time do we actually spend on water?
You will get to spend up to 1 hour on water. Overall, you need to allocate approx. 4 hours including transport, safety briefing, getting ready for rafting, instructions and getting back to your accommodation.

No, not at all. The Operator will give all the training required and will assist you throughout the trip.

A courtesy shuttle to and from central Rotorua accommodation and the Rotorua Information Centre is available.
If you prefer to drive, the tour departs from: 1135 Te Ngae Road, RD4 Tikitere, Rotorua.
How warm is the water? Will I get a wetsuit to stay warm?

In the summer months from October to March, you can expect water temps ranging from 17 to 22 degrees, while in the winter months (April to September) expect 11 to 16 degrees.
You will also be provided with a wetsuit and fleece jumper to ensure you're kept as warm as possible during the tour.
